About the Project

VIP Production Northwest is a premiere lighting and staging company here in Spokane, WA. We started with a new logo design and then were hired to design and build their new website. The site was designed to be mobile-friendly and setup for the business manager to take over the majority of website edits.

VIP has everything you need — seriously. VIP Production Northwest was founded on the notion that a complete “one stop shop” providing all aspects of technical production was long overdue. By combining the resources of Silhouette Lights and Staging and Reit Audio Productions, we are able to offer over 25 years of experience with an eye towards the artistic. We offer consulting services and are a retailer for numerous production supply vendors. We always include support for every sale with opportunities for training and online forums. From rentals to complete production services we offer access to, and support of all your production needs.

Creating their logo was fun, but then watching the application of the logo was even more fun. It has been printed on business cards, spray painted on equipment cases, used on the website, on documents, banners, and cut from silver metal for display in their warehouse.

The idea from the client was to create a backstage entry pass style logo. Liorah worked with the client from draft concepts to final logo. Next we exported the logo into renderings in black and white, horizontal and vertical layouts, and a chose a color option. It was important to choose the right fonts to achieve this look for the company.

This logo started with a completely different name. When VIP Production Northwest started, it was originally called All Access Production. Turns out there was a competitive business in New York with the same name, and even though they were in different states, they had to change their name.

Blue Tiger Studio was there for both brand names and logos. We love the different but similar logo that they use today.
